On some of our pages where we have a gallery of images we use a piece of Javascript called greybox to create a slide show within your browser window.

To navigate around use the symbols above the image:

will take you to the next image in the group

will take you to the previous image in the group

will quit and take you back to the web page.

Whilst it looks good there are a couple of points to note:

  • You may get a browser warning protecting you against ActiveX controls or scripts. If you choose not to allow the script to run (or have no choice) then the pictures will still appear however you'll need to use your browser's back button to go through the pictures.
  • You need to let the page completely load. If you don't you'll get the picture, but as above you'll need to use the back button - you'll probably find that the page has then loaded and you'll be able to use the navigation within greybox.

We've tested the galleries in Internet Explorer 6 & 7, and Firefox 1.5 & 2 - all on Windows. We can't say whether it'll work with other browsers or operating systems but should do!

Any other problems then let us know via the link on your left!
